Student Affairs

Student Affairs

No student navigates it alone.

A student’s time on campus isn’t only academic — it’s also personal, and sometimes difficult. The Student Affairs office exists so that no student has to manage that alone.

Students Advisory Center

Support that stays close.

Dedicated staff are assigned to the counseling and support of students throughout their time at DYIMS. The Advisory Center keeps a close, ongoing awareness of student wellbeing — academic, personal, and social — and serves as the first point of contact for any concern a student isn’t sure how to raise elsewhere.

Where a concern needs to be escalated, the Advisory Center takes it forward to the appropriate authority within DYIMS, ensuring students are not left to manage institutional processes on their own.

How We Help

What Student Affairs can help with.

Grievance Redressal

A clear path to be heard.

Every DYIMS student has the right to raise a grievance regarding the violation of any student right, in accordance with the DYIMS Code of Conduct.

01

Student Affairs

Raise it directly with Student Affairs, who can guide you on the right next step.

02

Grievance Committee

For formal complaints requiring committee review, raise it with the Disciplinary / Grievance Committee.

03

Project Director

Where a matter requires appeal or final escalation, it goes to the Project Director.

Every student has the right to be heard, to a fair and impartial review, and to adequate notice at every stage of any process involving them — exactly as set out in the Code of Conduct.

A Safe, Supervised Campus

An environment families can trust.

DYIMS maintains a structured, supervised environment by design — consistent with the institute’s Code of Conduct on dress, gender mixing, and general campus behaviour. This isn’t about restricting students; it’s about making sure every student, including those living at Noor Hostel, studies in an environment their families can trust.
